We have a LEGO Store near where we live. One of the best things about this is that they have lots of activities each month. The first activity we did was to build a tree. This was a free activity that anyone could participate in, and we got to keep the tree!
On St. Patrick's Day, they had a contest to find a four-leafed clover. Would you know my little brother would find the clover first! He will never let me hear the end of this, so I will post his picture instead of mine. However, the LEGO store builders were nice, I received a LEGO Chima set too. We decided to take all of our sets and build a larger Chima. It was so cool!
Another activity was the opportunity to take a picture with Spider man. That same day, was another build, this time it was a helicopter!The theme for May is going to be Star Wars! I am so excited!!! We are going to have a Droid search!
The LEGO store has other things too, speed-building competitions, specialty set builds (for FREE!) and opportunities to take pictures with comic-book characters.
