I went to a speed build at the LEGO Store today. We tried to build the most Lego mini figures in a minute. I built three. The winner built four. I was SO close to winning the prize! I will have to work on my speed building skills for the next contest. Who knew it would take so long to put three pieces of LEGO together? Well, we did have to add accessories also.
However, every one was a winner in the end, as we were allowed to take one of our creations home with me. My brothers Henry and Brendan participated also.
And, while we were waiting, one of the store builders showed us his LEGO robotic creation. It is so cool! IT also reminded me of how much fun we had with LEGO Robotics. Maybe I can convince our dad to start a group here!
It was a lot of fun. The LEGO Store ha many activities that I will share with you on my blog. Maybe I can let you know about them ahead of time so you can join me for the fun!
NOTE: Some how this post did not get published back in April, so a lot has happened since this event. I will try to keep you updated of future events. I think the next LEGO build event is on July 1st.
